In this session we will cover what graph databases and Amazon Neptune are, the types of workloads that are best suited for them, how they are used, and why they are useful. We will then look at a real world example of designing a graph data model by working backwards from the type of queries that will be performed. We will then see how this workload can be queried using the Apache Tinkerpop Gremlin traversal language.
